They are both very easy to use and free!

You need to check that your idea is something that lots of people are looking for, but on the other hand, one that isn't already dominated by 'the big boys'.

The inventory overture research tool has been acting a little strangely recently - there are rumours that it's dying, and may even be dead as we speak!

So here are some other excellent research tools to use in its place.

Everybody talks about finding a niche market. All this means is, look for 'specifics'.

Example, you want to get into the 'dieting' market. A huge and profitable market. You do a little search (using links above) and find that thousands of people everyday go on the internet to find out how to lose weight. Great, yes? Well, no, not so great really.

How is your site going to get noticed among the thousands that are already out there?

The 'trick' is to hone it down... Maybe your 'dieting' product could be more specific?

Eg 'losing weight after 40' 'losing weight after pregnancy''losing weight for chocolate lovers'... get the idea?

There's a link below to an excellent book to get you going withyour niche markets, its called 'Niches Research', and it willreally get you started.

So remember to do your research before you waste your time, or money, trying to sell something that nobody wants.
